Dear friends, competitors, neighbors, and local and national supporters,

We first conceived of Cattle Battle in 2020 when the lives of our children have been completely turned upside down. Much of that year’s livestock show season was cancelled, and in response, we created the Cattle Battle show series, beginning with our first show in September 2020. Since then, we have held five shows, been invited to join a circuit that spans the East Coast and brought national level judges to New York. What was born out of necessity has become tradition and view our state’s youth the chance to show their cattle multiple times each year in eastern New York.

We will be holding this spring’s show at the Dutchess County Fairgrounds on April 29th and 30th. We expect more than 120 head of cattle and youth exhibitors to attend this show- each CattleBattle we produce grows by an average of twenty percent over the previous show.

We hole that you will help us make this event another success. From facility charges to judging fees to premiums paid to winners, an event like his will cost approximately $15,000 to produce. We don’t represent any major breed association that would subsidize this- we represent a group of parents who want our children to have local,, well-run livestock shows in eastern New York, and who want to see the tradition of beef showmanship excellence return to Dutchess County on an annual basis.

As in the past, we have created a range of sponsorship levels that represent multiple ways to be involved. These are outlined on the next page – and if one does ‘t fit want or your company can do right now, please feel free to reach out directly and we will work with you. Every dollar we receive will go directly to making this other great Cattle Battle.

In an important milestone, out 501c3 status is in process and, for the first time this year, we will be able o issue tax deduction eligibility letter to our sponsors.
